victory!! i spent 10 hours bringing this warp into a workable state. it was a remnant of trimmed warp strings from a previous weaving, but because they had already been beamed, the chain didn’t have a cross. sadly, i had needed to remove the warp from the back apron rod after the previous weaving was completed - that was just how it had to be - so i was working with a crossless warp chain. . i am so glad not to have wasted these materials and the time it took me to do the ombré. plus, i have learned many good lessons. . thanks dear @mirandaoutside for the helpful tips - i dressed front to back for the first time!! 💪🏼✨ . #floorloomweaving #weaver #weaving #textiles #handwoven #dressingtheloom #weaverfever
